Kookaburra are proud to be a partner of Cricket Victoria for the next three years. The partnership will see Kookaburra once again be the exclusive ball for Victorian Premier Cricket and continue being the ball of choice for all Victorian cricketers from elite to grassroots level. In addition, Kookaburra sponsors community cricket associations throughout Victoria while it is also a major sponsor of the National Under 17, Under 19 and Country Cricket championships.
A family-owned Australian company that still manufactures balls in Victoria, Kookaburra has been making cricket balls since the 1890s and today is the number one supplier of balls for international cricket. The Kookaburra is used for Test cricket in seven countries, in all international ODIs and T20, as well as being the ball of choice for all major T20 competitions such as the BBL, IPL and CPL. Kookaburra's pink ball has allowed the introduction of day/night cricket into Test matches over the last 3 years.
Kookaburra also has an extensive range of bats and protective equipment that are used by many Bushrangers, VicSpirit, Renegades and Stars players including Glenn Maxwell, Sophie Molineux, Peter Handscomb, Emma Inglis, James Pattinson, Peter Siddle, John Hastings and Alana King.
