Southern Stars keep Ashes flickering

The Southern Stars' Ashes hopes are alive and well after clinching a 26-run victory against England in the second one-day international at the MCG.

Needing to win the remaining limited overs fixtures to reclaim the Ashes, the Southern Stars compiled 7-266 after Nicole Bolton (124) became the first Australian woman to strike a century on debut.

Commonwealth Bank VicSpirit run-machine Jess Cameron added 44, while state teammate Julie Hunter claimed 1-39 as England was dismissed for 240 in the 47th over.
