Level 2 Accreditation

2010 Level 2 (Advanced) Coaching Courses

OPTION 1:

By completing two weekend courses; Part A: General Principles of Coaching and Part B: Coaching Cricket Specific.

Part A: General Principles of Coaching Course:

A 16 hour course that will be conducted on Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th of July 2010 at Deakin University Burwood

Part B: Cricket Specific Coaching Course:

A 20 hour course that will be conducted over one weekend - Friday 18th, Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th of June 2010 at the Cricket Victoria & the MCG.

OPTION 2:

"Level Two Complete Course" - comprising of both General Principles and Cricket Specific components (approximately 36 hours):

Monday 26th - Friday 30th of July at the MCG

COURSE REQUIREMENTS / PREREQUISITES:

Category 1:

  • Must be Cricket Australia Level 1 accredited;
  • Must have held their Level 1 accreditation for at least a 12 month period;
  • Must be currently coaching a team or club.

Category 2:

There will be a limited number of places set aside for overseas accredited coaches. Overseas coaches to apply, you must:

  • Have a letter of support from your National Body;
  • Currently be coaching at representative level;
  • Provide documentation of all coaching & playing background.
