MILO T20 Blast Come and Try days

Girls and boys aged between eight and 12 years old are invited to the FREE Come and Try days where players get to bat, bowl and field during a jam-packed 75 minutes.

Fleming, who played 20 Test matches for Australia and is one of the nation’s most popular commentators thanks to his work on the KFC T20 Big Bash League, said the sessions were the perfect way for kids to emulate their heroes on TV and to try their hand at cricket.

“It’s been an exciting summer of cricket,” Fleming said.

“Australia was fantastic during the Ashes, the BBL has been full of action and there are plenty of kids on the streets practicing to be the next Mitchell Johnson or Michael Clarke.

“The MILO T20 Blast Come and Try days are the ideal way for kids to get a taste of cricket and to move from the avenue of interest to the pathway to participation.”

Fleming will appear in Box Hill, Balwyn and Heidelberg, while Lobo, who presents on ABC3, will also be present at the Balwyn and Heidelberg sessions, as well as Elwood.

Players are not required to register for the sessions and are free to attend on the day.
