Name: Nicole Martin

Reason for nomination: Nicole this season coached the U15 Victorian team that travelled to Hobart and was Assistant Coach of the U18 Victorian team that won the National Championships in Canberra earlier this year. She also coached the Central Highlands U18 Pathway team and her home club, Melton, which won the Premier 2s final.  Nicole has shown enormous passion to develop young female cricketers, she continues to strive for excellence in developing players, and also developing herself as a coach in the female game through use of AMS coaching tools.

Name: Catherine Morrow
Club: Coburg CC
Accreditation level: Representative Coach
Years of coaching: 6
Reason for nomination: Catherine Morrow was recruited to Coburg six years ago, delivering professional leadership, dedication, development of youth, recruitment, performance and success. Coburg have played in five of the last six Grand Finals winning two of the last three. Catherine has also introduced Susan Alberti AO (Number 1 Ticket Holder) & The Susan Alberti Foundation. Catherine is well known and well connected (within Premier ranks) and her personal efforts have brought the Club into Premier 1st Grade considerations next season. We are delighted with the efforts of Catherine, her professionalism and standards reached.

Club: Northerners CC
Accreditation level: Community Coach
Years of coaching: 3
Reason for nomination: Alana was instrumental in establishing Cricket Shepparton’s first All Female team. Alana has volunteered countless hours to establish and coach them in season 2015-16. The girls have developed as both players and people under Alana’s leadership. The parents and girls speak highly of Alana and commend her on her dedication and the passion that she shows for cricket. Alana has inspired girls of all abilities, indigenous & multicultural players to play together in one team. Alana was also the Assistant Coach of the Melbourne Renegades All Abilites team, Northerners MILO in2 CRICKET & U10 coach, and Northern Rivers U14 Assistant Coach.
