Volunteers are a vital pillar of Victorian cricket’s vision to unite and inspire communities to grow the game throughout the nation.
This week we are recognising the contribution of cricket volunteers through National Volunteer Week and look forward to celebrating volunteerism at the national A Sport For All Awards for excellence in volunteering at the CitiPower Centre.
Cricket Victoria actively encourages all clubs and associations to embrace diversity in their volunteer teams no matter their age, gender, ethnicity, sexuality, ability or religion.
While succession planning and fresh thinking remains important, we also recognise the ongoing valuable contribution of existing volunteers right across our cricket community.
Victorian cricket would not be the successful community it is without our volunteers.
