The seminar aims to educate attendees on turf wickets and their maintenance, cricket facilities management as well as giving advice on the changeover of seasons from cricket to football and then football to cricket.
Commonwealth Bank Bushrangers bowling coach Mick Lewis will present at the seminar along with Cricket Victoria’s Game and Market Development Managers, Chris Harris and Scott Tutton who will discuss Victoria’s cricket participation trends.
Jubilee Park Curator Chris Cay will also speak at the seminar, focussing on the ‘end of season” maintenance.
Jubilee Park is a 13 hectare site and is home to district cricket, having Frankston’s only turf wickets. It is also home to junior/senior football and incorporates a Melbourne Water wetland area.
