Working with the Commonwealth Bank Bushrangers and VicSpirit and the Victorian Academy squad, the new partnership connects CV with New Balance’s existing roster of players and partners including Test quick James Pattinson.
England’s Ben Stokes and Jonathan Trott, South Africa’s Dale Steyn and Australia’s Pat Cummins, as well as County powerhouse Lancashire and South Africa’s Sunfoil Dolphins and Cape Cobras all have agreements with New Balance.
Not surprisingly, New Balance continues to establish itself as one of the leading cricket brands across the globe.
“Working with Cricket Victoria supports New Balance’s cricket positioning, made by cricketers, for cricketers,” New Balance Asia Pacific Sports Marketing Manager Stephen Roach said.
Through its partnership with CV, New Balance hopes to help grow and support clubs and players across the state from grassroots levels through to Bartercard Premier Cricket and the elite cricket teams.
A host of Bushrangers are currently wearing New Balance cricket spikes in today’s Bupa Sheffield Shield contest against South Australia, while members of the Victorian squad also wear New Balance footwear off the field and at training.
