A consistently brilliant tournament from Commonwealth Bank Bushranger Cameron White was rewarded with the Man of the Series award.
The Victorian right-hander notched 387 runs, at an average of 77.4 and struck five fifties in six innings.
White narrowly missed becoming the first person to post six consecutive half-centuries in the tournament’s history when he was dismissed for 42 in the elimination final.
The series catapulted White’s name back into the frame for national selection.
Unsurprisingly, White won the Dean Jones Medal at the Cricket Victoria State Awards earlier this month for Victoria’s best one-day player, along with the Bill Lawry Medal for the state’s finest Shield player.
