Victorian Cricket Team

2022-23 Victorian domestic fixtures confirmed

For the first time, Victoria will play 12 matches in the WNCL with six home games to be played at the CitiPower Centre. The Victorian Men’s team will play 10 Marsh Sheffield Shield and seven Marsh One-Day Cup matches in 2022-23.

Victoria will kick off the domestic summer with Marsh One-Day Cup and WNCL matches on September 23 before Victoria’s Marsh Sheffield Shield campaign begins on October 6 in South Australia.

The Men’s fixture features three Marsh Sheffield Shield and three Marsh One-day Cup matches at the CitiPower Centre, along with two Marsh Sheffield Shield and a Day/Night Marsh One-day Cup match at the MCG.

Four of Victoria’s seven Marsh One-Day Cup matches will be broadcast on Foxtel, with the remaining streaming details to be confirmed.

Cricket Victoria’s General Manager of High Performance, Graham Manou said:

“The expansion of the WNCL is exciting, it’s hard to replicate the experience of playing matches and the opportunity to play against the best more often is going to be fantastic, not only for Victorian cricket but for Australian cricket as a whole,” Manou said.

“Our squads are busy preparing for what will be an action-packed summer and we look forward to welcoming cricket back to the CitiPower Centre and the MCG.”
