Meg Lanning will return to captain Victoria this weekend as the side returns to WNCL action at the new CitiPower Centre for the first time.
The Victorians play Queensland this Friday before facing Tasmania on Sunday.
Lanning comes into the matches fresh from a record-setting 244 runs for Box Hill last week while Annabel Sutherland also made a century for Prahran.
Australian representatives Elyse Villani and Tayla Vlaeminck will miss the fixtures through injury.
Villani is recovering from a hamstring strain while Vlaeminck is recovering from a knee injury – both sustained during the WBBL.
Victoria’s Head Coach David Hemp said the squad was keen to make up ground on the WNCL table.
“It has been a busy couple of months during WBBL but the players are looking forward to getting back into 50 over cricket and putting some wins on the board for Victoria. These are our first home matches for the season so we’re looking forward to getting out on our turf and showing what we’re about,” Hemp said.
Victoria currently sits in sixth place on the table.
